My friend Amy and I wanted to do some NYC exploring that wasn’t touristy. I’ve been here 8 months, she has been here a few years but we both still have plenty to explore. She suggested the NYC Twilight Cruise. The night was warm and there was a gorgeous breeze on the river.
We left Pier 83 around 7.30PM and circled around Manhattan until 9PM. We cruised south along the west side, past the Freedom Tower, around Wall St, looped around the Statue of Liberty, up past Brooklyn and Long Island City and back around to the West Side (38th & 12th).
I loved it, and it would be a great tourist activity that lets you see everything without dealing with hoards of tourists and selfie sticks at the sites of the places we could see from water, all the while with booze sold on-board and our hair flying in the breeze. Count it as a Boss recommendation.
