NYC // The Butcher’s Daughter, Tartinery, Coffee & Street Art

The Butcher’s Daughter is another GREAT brunch spot.  The Butcher’s Daughter is a fresh and bright cafe that focuses on vegetarian dishes and juices.  It feels very Aussie to me!  I am always on the hunt for these awesome, healthy brunch places and this makes the list (tasty pictures to follow).

I love this area, there is so much amazing street art that I stumble upon every time I walk through here.

After brunch with my friend Amy, we made it over to Blue Bird (they serve Counter Culture Coffee) in the East Village-ish.

We went with the eggs benedict (can’t remember the fancy name for it) and a coconut yoghurt and fruit bowl.  Plus a red juice and one of those ginger, garlic, chili shots because I felt a cold coming onNew York City & Street Art04 New York City & Street Art05

Our waiter was really cool and also let me take a picture of his shirt, I thought it was funny and blog-worthy

The above is by Kelsey Montague.  We took some of the obligatory pictures in front of it (it would be rude not to) but I will save those for a street style post with my other pictures I have been collecting

I’m not sure who the above is by, but I walked past and tried to snap a picture between traffic

We rounded up the troops and made our way to Blue Bird for coffee and teaNew York City & Street Art11

Blue Bird is a cute spot and with really decent coffee.  I’m planning on pulling together a “top/favorite coffee spots” post soon, so keep an eye out!
